Brian grew up on a family farm in Oakdale. His family grew corn, beans, and wheat and raised cows and hogs. Living on the family farm taught Brian about hard work. Avery plays volleyball and basketball at Mater Dei Catholic High School and on club teams. When he is not at work or at a sporting event, Brian enjoys traveling with friends and family. Some of his most memorable trips include Scotland, Ireland, Italy, France, Spain, Hawaii, Costa Rica, Alaska, Portugal, and numerous trips to the Gulf Coast.
