Brian Patton

Financial Advisor

Brian graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1994 with a BS in business. Since then, Brian has been serving the financial planning needs of clients in southern Illinois and surrounding states. He started his career at The Heitner Corporation in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1998, Brian started an Investment Centers of America, Inc., office in Sparta, Illinois. His office is located in First National Bank* of Sparta. In 2017, Brian expanded his locations to better serve clients in Carlyle and the surrounding Clinton County areas. He has office hours at the First National Bank in Carlyle locations by appointment. Brian transitioned his clients to Patton Wealth Management in October 2017 as a way to offer a higher level of service and more robust solutions for his clients' financial needs. Brian takes the necessary time to get to know his clients and starts out by preparing a financial plan to assess each client's personal goals. He enjoys getting to know his clients on a personal basis to help them reach their financial goals.

Brian grew up on a family farm in Oakdale. His family grew corn, beans, and wheat and raised cows and hogs. Living on the family farm taught Brian about hard work. He has been married to his wife, Dana, since 1996. They live in Bartelso with their three children: Alexis, Jacob, and Avery. Brian enjoys spending time with his family. Avery plays volleyball and basketball at Mater Dei Catholic High School and on club teams. Brian and his family enjoy making the trip to Oxford, MS, in the fall to visit Jacob at college and catch a few Ole' Miss football games. When he is not at work or at a sporting event, Brian enjoys traveling with friends and family. Some of his most memorable trips include Scotland, Ireland, Italy, France, Spain, Hawaii, Costa Rica, Alaska, Portugal, and numerous trips to the Gulf Coast. Brian is active at St. Cecilia Church in Bartelso as a Eucharistic Minister, is a member of the Bartelso Knights of Columbus, and enjoys being a leader with the Clinton County CEO program.
